Fender / Stratocaster / 1978 / Blue / Guitar

Originally owned by session guitarist Dean Parks, this guitar started out life as Olympic White. Among the many sessions Dean played this guitar on, was the Michael McDonald song "Keep Forgettin". It was purchased in 1989 by Band Leader/Song Writer/Musical Director Extrordinare, Terry Wollman. Terry had it refinished blue to match the set of the Byron Allen show, which he was the musical director of. Along with the refinishing in 1989, (done by Norik Renson) Seymour Duncan Hot Rails were added, a JB humbucker, toggle switch with a mid range boost, Floyd Rose trem, and the cavity was lined with metallic material to cut down the hum when used in TV studio situations. After the modifications, Terry went on to use it to both in front of the camera, as well as behind the camera on such television shows as Married With Children, Scrubs, The Larry Sanders Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and countless others. Non orig. case included.
