This is one of the coolest late 70’s Strats that was completed new by 1980. This was a regular occurrence whilst Fender had an abundance of necks made in the late 70’s that wound up on guitars finished as late as 1981 but this has all of the cool 70’s features. Its got a fabulous ultra grainy Ash body w/a nice original See-Thru Blonde finish w/some nice play time patina. Its Maple neck is dated to 1979 & has slight play time yet overall she’s fabulous lookin! Its got a clean Black pickgard loaded w/3 original pickups & pots. She’s a heavyweight yet has everything you’d want tone wise. These ash bodied Maple necks have a very unique tone quality like a Black’gard Tele. It’s excellent overall & comes w/its matching Owners hangtag/manual in its original Black Molded hard case.
