This 25th strat is in beautiful condition, one or two little marks away from mint. It’s an Excellent Plus.The anniversary Strat was launched in 1979 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Stratocaster and was made for two years only. This guitar showed a return to some classic Strat features and added a couple of new ones, exclusive to this model. One for instant is the fact that it went back to the 4 bolt neck joint! with the truss rod adjustment at the body end of the neck, losing the dreaded Tilt Neck adjustment! Another feature is the modern and more efficient tuning keys, with a locking system, to help keep the guitar in tune. Also the silver paint is a beauty, and originates from Porsche, called Porsche Silver! It shows the beautiful fading old porsche 356 color! Worth a test drive just for that. We used to see a lot of these guitars, however, in the last few years they have been fewer and fewer. This guitar is in EC original condition and is medium heavy. Not the neck cracker, but not the light weight either. It comes with the original Certificate and a 25th ann. Sticker and original case. Totally original, matching number, set up perfectly..
