Started life in 1969, left the factory in early 1970 this is one 4 bolt, Hendrix spec Strat that I bet you don't have in your collection...

Super rare blonde finish on lightweight ash body. Beautiful to look at, play and feel this amazing guitar is also near mint condition.

I bought it from the last owner of 35 years and during his watch, the guitar hardly left it's case leading a total vampiresqe type lifestyle of no sunlight, avoiding garlic and only coming out to play on the full moon (or maybe that one was werewolves). It is largely unfaded, especially when you consider how many blonde 69 Tele's have turned almost opaque yellow. There are hardly any dings on it at all just a few minor, mainly clearcoat ones that I have tried to picture.

No buckle rash, back is very clean and it is all original except at one stage in it's soon to be 50 year old life, a 5 way switch was fitted. A period correct 3 way is now back in there. All other solder, including the pots, pickups etc are totally original.

Neck has pretty much no fade at all and is still the light, coloured maple you expect to see when you buy a new one.

Neck date is November 1969 and all pickups and pots date to early 1970. Weight is a gorgeous 3.35Kg, Original frets on classic 'C' shape neck have very little wear and guitar has just had a pro setup so plays like a demon.

As always, internal pics are available for anyone seriously interested.

You won't find many of these for sale anywhere - ash/blonde Strats from any era are pretty rare delicacies, especially in this rather fine condition. A true turn of the decade guitar that will stand out from the rest of the custom colour crowd...
