This Fender Stratocaster 1954 Heavy Relic is an example of what happens when the Custom Shop pull out all the stops to make a truly special instrument. In our opinion this guitar is easily up there with the master built models, a superb version and it’s clear to see (and hear) when you play it up against more run of the mill custom shop relics. This pre owned example was wrestled from a loving owner who bought it brand new from World Guitars in the UK, a copy of the original purchase invoice is included with a sizable handful of case candy. World Guitars are an exceptional dealer of top end instruments, it’s always reassuring when we get one of their guitars in stock. Everything is there including the certificate, a set of unused John Cruz tools, all the tags, cloth, cable etc etc. Even some brand new genuine Fender 1954 volume and tone knobs (as the true to original ones on these are known for authentic cracking). Also inlcuded is a packet of genuine Fender strap buttons. The looks, playability and sound of this guitar are truly stunning. It’s light, very resonant, just playing it acoustically is magic, but when you fire it up into an amp the sound from the special hand wound pickups is simply amazing. Make no mistake, this stunning tribute to the 1954 strat is in no way limited to the rock and roll twangs of the era, it will seriously rock you what ever style you are into. Without doubt one of my favourite models that is a pain to let go. The attention to detail on these 2014 Anniversary models is bang on, the knobs, pickup covers, saddles, selector tip are all to the right spec for a genuine 1954 Strat. When new in the UK in 2014 these models retailed for between £3200 – £3600 depending on the dealer.

Coffee House guitars is a new (for 2019) boutique guitar shop selling only used, high end American and Japanese guitars from the well known brands. The shop is owned and run by Julian Deverell who has been playing, buying, collecting and selling guitars for 25 years. The shop is based in the warehouse of The Regency Chess Company, a niche chess set business that Julian also owns.
The aim is to make available a good selection of lovely guitars that have been expertly set up and are at their optimum, frets dressed, polished and ready to rock! The shop is in a custom built coffee shop (hence the name) that serves only the worlds best speciality coffee. We may not be the worlds best guitar shop, but we certainly serve the best coffee you’ll find in any guitar shop in the world! We are a ‘by appointment’ business so please get in touch prior to visiting. We can ship all over Europe using either UPS or DPD tracked and insured couriers.
