Fender Stratocaster Masterbuilt '81 Jason Smith (2010) rare Closet classic in Coral Pink, Case COA
This is a unique Fender '81 Closet Classic light relic Stratocaster finished in coral pink and made by Masterbuilder Jason Smith, it's made for a trade show, and given the date, most likely for the NAMM, and it's made once only. So it's a unique guitar, that is very appealing, feels great and sounds amazing, it's alos exceptionally very clean, Closet classic means light relic only and that's what this guitar shows, mild ageing, some crazing and few tiny traces of artificial wear. The guitar features an select alder body, and the word 'select' makes a great tonal difference in custom shop terms, other features include; maple neck with beautiful dark redish fingerboard, some flame in neck wood, custom shop '69 pickups, weighs in at only 3.35kg and comes with a 9.5" radius, 42.3mm (1 11/16") neck width, 650mm scale length. The frets show virtually no wear, and the guitar is 'closet classic treatment-clean' comes with original Papers/certificate, a letter from Fender stating the unicity of the guitar, also stating the #19 doesn't mean there were these many made of this guitar, and that the guitar is unique project. Other things included are case candy, 2 tremolo arms, booklet, 3 way switch and original certificate. This is a great and different sounding guitar that will please someone for many years. Rare is a understatement, in terms of collectibillity, i don't think you will find a second one like this one! With original case.
