Very nice original late 1956 Fender Telecaster, nice light weight of 3.25Kg and has the classic slightly chunky V neck profile at a half reasonable price...
Original finish on neck and body black-lights perfectly and has the usual checking and some wear in places. Original parts but it is my opinion that the original pickups have been out of the guitar at some stage as some solder has been disturbed.
Both pickups have original windings so I guess one of it's owners during it's 61 year life wanted to try different pickups for a while. Hence reasonable price (for a '56 Tele!)
Has a non original, large tweed case which looks slightly like the real thing but is not.
Original frets that do have some wear, especially in the first few positions but still play OK.
Probably one of the best buys around at the moment for an original vintage, mid 50's Tele's and I do not expect it to hang around for that long!
