This is a very cool & lightweight early Slab neck’d Tele in nice original shape. Its original Blonde finish appears to have been clear coated sometime in its life yet has been played like crazy & that clear coat has worn away showing its original finish all over from years of playing. Its early clay dot Slab Rosewood neck has no pencil date which was normal for 1959. Its original single layer white pickgard looks great & she has 2 original pickups that are extremely great sounding. Its 2 original pots are dated to the 47th week of 1958. She’s still sporting her original Kluson tuners, knobs & bridge plate. These 1st year Slab Rosewood neck Fenders are extremely hard to find & when you do…grab it. Its a very good overall original 50’s Tele & comes in its original beat to hell Tweed case.
