Absolutely gorgeous, very late '63, early '64 Fender Telecaster in blonde, rosewood fingerboard, with original blonde case and ashtray cover. This is the real deal and so rare to see here in the UK, or anywhere else for that matter.

In case you were not aware, Telecaster production was pretty low during 1961 - 1964 and to find one, especially as nice as this one, is a rare treat indeed. In fact the is only the second one we have had in 2 years compared to dozens of 50's maple neck Teles.

This one is a real killer, it is lightweight (3.3Kg) and superbly resonant when you play it acoustically which is always a good thing. It has a perfect neck pocket fit with no shims, original frets with no choking and that classic early 60's Tele bite that we all so love.

The all original finish is in very nice condition with little fade. It is not mint, it has been played but in my book, it has just the right amount of wear. Please have a look at the photos and see what I mean...

All original or at least period correct hardware. All original electrics, no rewinds and a rare to find blonde tolex case perfectly right for 1963 early 64. The case does have some tape at the ends where the leather has worn away but is structurally very intact.

Neck date is December 1963, serial number is L41094 and both pots date early '64.

I can pretty much guarantee when you pick this Tele up you will struggle to put it down and if you have not played a 63 spec Tele before, you will soon find out why they are so sought after.
