Fender / Telecaster / 1966 / Blonde / Guitar
Stunning, original vintage 1966 Fender Telecaster that was sent to the master, Clive Brown, for it's body to be restored in 2007 and was completed in Clive's workshop in 2008. The neck is 100% original both in finish and hardware and is lovely...
I'm sure you are aware of Clive's amazing work - few people would deny he is the best at what he does his year long waiting list is testament to this. This one's quality, beauty and attention to detail is no exception and is a real gem. It is just as you would expect a real 1966 finish to look like after 50 years of moderate use.
Everything else is all original which is great! Original pickups, original hardware and even frets which are in good shape. There is a crack on the pickguard by the control plate that has been repaired and there is some wear on the back of the neck but not too much at all. Both pickups are meaty sounding with good bite and pots, switch etc are all original.
It is also very well set up and plays well with a nice fast action and a slimish neck profile.
A superb guitar that has had very little messed around with and one which benefits from one of the best body refin jobs you will see anywhere.
Included is a very nice, reissue thermometer type tweed case .
