This is another nice example of 1 of the last cool Maple Cap Teles produced. Its ash body Blonde finish is worn gently all over yet having a vibey patina. Its rare Maple Cap neck is played in a bunch & now having been pro-refretted. It’s sporting a large logo, has 1 extra string tree & is date stamped October 1968. Its still got its original double line Kluson tuners aboard. Its original white’gard is ultra clean. She’s loaded w/2 powerful original pickups still using early cloth wiring. Its pot codes are typically dated to the 12th week of 1966. Overall she’s got tremendous tone variations & clarity like it should. Overall she’s a killer late “Cap” Neck w/great tone ! Other than some chipping around the edges & that 4 digit code in its finish under its ‘gard, she’s still excellent overall & comes in a nice newer black hard case.
