Nice players vintage Telecaster at a nice price...
Body only refin in stunning and authentic looking 3 tone sunburst in nitro which has not been reliced. Neck has original finish and is dated November 1969. It has a changed pick guard and a filled extra string tree hole on the headstock.
Bridge pickup is original late 60's grey bottom and neck pickup looks original. Both are strong and sound killer with lots of bite. Rest of the electrics look OK but I cannot get a date code from the pots, they are either covered in solder or too corroded. All I can say is they look right and could well be original.
Looks like someone has experimented with different pickups as a fair few solder joints have been disturbed but it appears pretty original or at least period correct now, apart from the guard and obviously the body refin. Good thing is there are no extra routes anywhere and it does actually, look real nice!
Included is a non original hard case which looks fairluy new.
Neck has been refretted with slightly larger frets and plays well. Has a very cool Tele vintage twang about it and I am sure it will not disappoint.
