Up for sale is my Genuine USA Fender Telecaster - the serial number suggests that it was made in 2006 - and the headstock bears the Fender 60th Anniversary badge.

The neck is in great condition - no dings bang or nicks to speak of, the rosewood fingerboard is beautifully figured and the frets are in good condition. I bought this as I fancied trying out the Seymour Duncan "Hot Rails" pickups that were installed by a previous owner. Unfortunately they had been installed rather badly - and so the story began….

I decided to try and make this a "do everything" guitar - humbuckers for the rock side and single coils for the country (?) - well whatever….

I've installed push/pull pots on the volume and tone knobs - these coil tap the neck and bridge pickups (respectively) to give a more traditional Telecaster sound. I've also installed a Sprague Orange drop capacitor - my favourite mod and I honestly believe that this gives a smoother and wider tonal response.

The Lake Placid Blue paintwork does carry a fair selection of chips and dings - but as you can see in the pictures - nothing too major or distracting. It looks more "loved and used" rather than "beaten and abused" - but I'd hate you to think that it was pristine. Whilst the chrome metalwork is shiny and uncorroded there are a couple of light scratches in the chrome on the control plate (someone used pliers to remove the pots - not me - I promise!) I've also fitted some rather elegant heavyweight Q Parts chrome Dome knobs with a rather fetching Black insert!!

All electronics are crackle free and fully working. Currently set up with new Ernie Ball 10's , action is low and easy, intonation is adjusted and it's ready to ROCK! (or play country - but lets not go there again…..)

The guitar will be shipped in the illustrated Fender Hardcase - impressively lightweight and in great condition.

I accept Paypal (providing the buyer emails me to confirm before payment), personal cheque , cash on collection and direct back transfer. Payment must be arranged within 3 days of the agreement to purchase. Money must clear into my account prior to collection/despatch. The items will be despatched via Royal Mail, insured where appropriate, usually within 24 hours of receipt of funds. The shipping figure is an estimate - I'd urge overseas buyers to check with me the actual shipping cost.
