This is a very rare Special Edition that’s believed to be 1 of about 125 ever produced for the Guitar Center chain. This run has a groovy 50’s 2-tone Brown’burst finish that’s simply stunning over a fabulous front & back laminates of delicious Quilted Maple. The body is date stamped Jun 05 2000. Its thick Slab Rosewood neck is pencil dated 5/26/00 on its butt & stamped Jun 20 2000 on its & feels great sporting a set of vintage type Kluson Tuners w/a “Special Edition” logo on the back of its headstock. Its loaded w/2 potent vintage spec cloth wrapped pickups w/pots dated to the 19th week of 1999 all under its pretty White pickgard. It’s rare enough that we have not ever seen another AMVI like it just perfect for that special collector that appreciates it as a great player & a killer future investment. It is near mint & comes w/a nice black hard case.
