This is a very nice find, this is a lovely and fairly RARE superb 100% original 1968 Fender Telecaster, maple cap neck, complete with original hard case finished in OLYMPIC WHITE in near MINT condition and sounds superb.
Guitar is 100% original with no modifications. All solder intact, 1966 pots 1968 neck date on lovely and desirable maple cap neck and guitar is just superb. Aside from a small amount of fingerboard wear and a couple of minor body dings it would be mint. Case is good too but like a few early CBS era cases the Fender logo has mostly broken off.
Everything is original and this is a great investment at a reasonable price. Custom Colour 60’s Teles are pretty rare as I am sure you are aware and to see one as nice as this is a good day…!
Please have a look at all the photos to see the superb condition this guitar is in. I think you would be hard pressed to find a nicer custom colour, maple cap 60’s Tele for this cool price.
The weight is an easy, 3.4Kg and the guitar does play real well with a nice low action and a real nice balanced sound for the two original pickups.
