This is a very cool late ’68 all original Telecaster Bass w/its special ordered Pink Paisley finish in all original condition. Its had 1 long term owner from new & was literally on display in his house for many decades. Its original Pink Paisley finish is quite clean over an Alder body. Its got the typical weather checking all over yet was hardly used & hung up by its only owner on permanent display. Its fat Maple neck is dated to November 1968 & is quite comfy, feels great but appears hardly played in. Its original Clear pickgard is super clean. Its original single coil gray pickup is super smooth w/that quintessential rock & roll tone. Its original pots date code to the 31st week of 1966. It’s so cool from its tuners to its 2 bridge saddles & still sports its original pickup & bridge covers. It plays & feels incredible, other than having quite a lot of deep checking all over its body yet has hardly any play time having only a slight pink hue left to its outer faded border. Other than missing 1 small patch of finish that flaked off its lower back bout, she’s exceptional overall & comes complete in a nice original black tolex hard case.
