Fender / Telecaster Thinline / 1968 / Natural / Guitar
Again, another exceptiponal guitar which has just had the single owner. This is a near MINT 100% original, undisturbed 1968 (first year) rare maple cap Fender Telecaster Thinline with OHSCin amazing condition and hardly played.
All 100% original, hardly any signs of wear, undisturbed solder joints and if it was any lighter it would be defying gravity...
If you are looking for a prime example of the classic Telecaster THinline from the very first year of manufacturer with everything you could wish for including the desirable maple cap you can stop looking - you have now find it and theis is THE best example I have seen in 15 years.
There is just the slightest amount of very minor frest wear, some small corrosion area on the bridge and some checking, mainly on the back these are the only things that prevent me from describing it as totally mint!
Sserial number is 240047. All pots date to 17th week of 1966 which is normal for ‘68 Teles and the neck date is July 1968. Included is the original case and ashtray bridge cover.
This is an exceptional example that plays well and sounds classic. Please have a look at the many photos from all angles.
