Fender / Thinline II / 1972 / Natural / Guitar
We're very happy to offer this GORGEOUS 1972/73 Thinline, with one of the craziest ash grains (front AND back) we've EVER seen. Who said flame was to be found only on maple tops? Have a look at this insanely clean (I'd say pretty darn close to mint, probably the cleanest one we've both seen yet) ash beauty. We DARE you find a nicer example anywhere. Not with that wild grain pattern, you won't :)
Guitar appears to be 100% original. All parts indicate 1972 (neck is dated "AUG 72") except for one of the pots, which is January '73. So it looks like a transitional, late '72 / super early '73. Yes, two string trees are correct as well.
All finish is original, frets too. They have some wear (obviously) but still plenty of life left. The OHSC is in equally clean condition, with the chromed Fender tail logo. Practically no headstock decoloration throughout the years. This is indeed one looked-after guitar and a true collector's item!
Quite lightweight and very beautiful-sounding. The Seth Lover Wide Range humbuckers still maintain that twangy Tele feel, but add a certain delicate warmth to the sound (quite in the the way of the P90), all with the slightly acoustic touch of the Thinline. You'll absolutely love it.
Folks, you'll be hard-pressed to find a finer Thinline II example than this!

Guitar Giraffe, Spain
In the last few years, online sale for musical instruments has experienced an amazing growth, but has passed right through the pre-owned market (that is, in Spain), limiting it to specialised forums and private owners. This is why Guitar Giraffe was born, the first physical and online second hand guitar and amp store (we like to call it "pre-owned", since we see a big difference between both terms), with a clear commitment of giving new options to guitarists locally and worldwide. Pre-owned guitar stores, so common in UK and USA, were practically nonexistent in Spain. We’ve wanted to fill that empty space by becoming the first physical and online store in our country focused on pre-owned guitars and amps.
