Fender / Twin Reverb / 1973 / Silverface / Amp
This Fender Twin Reverb from 1973 has been used intensely but still works just fine. The sound is warm and clean and it has the famous great sounding reverb and tremolo effects. This amp is an original export amp that can run on both the USA 110V voltage as on the EU voltages (220-240V).
The serial number of this amp is A58460, which points to production early in 1973. Typical features of this era are the original Utah speakers (dated wk42/1972) and the Master Volume control that was introduced right around the date of birth of this amp. Mainly because the Utah speakers aren’t very efficient, this Twin feels a bit softer and more played-in than a modern reissue Twin.
The casters and tiltback legs are still with the amp. The Master Volume knob has been replaced with a reissue one but apart from that and a few replaced components this amp is all stock.
