Fender USA / American Vintage '62 Jazz Bass Stack Knob
Fender USA American Vintage series made in 1980's is now in stock.
Unlike the 90's models, the body weight is lighter and the neck shape feels more like a vintage jazz bass.
The neck and body dates are decipherable to the third digit up to 198, and the pot date is "1378242", which is confirmed to be an '82 pot.
The neck has Herbert Gastelum's stamp, which looks a little different from the stamps of the early 80s.
The condition of the neck and electrical system has been adjusted by our professional repairman and is in good condition.
The neck is straight and the string height is set at about 1.7mm on the 12th fret.
This bass has been in production for over 30 years, so there are some scratches and dings from the history of this bass's use, but the sound output is very nice.
