Fender / Vibrolux Reverb Export Model / 1965 / Blackface / Amp
Here’s the find of the month, a one-owner blackface 1965 Fender Vibrolux Reverb export version in insane condition, bone-stock! The export version has a factory variable voltage selector in the back so it could be exported to Europe, but still be used in the USA nonetheless. It’s a great feature and makes it a rarer find than the average Vibrolux Reverb from that era.
Probably one of the best-sounding low wattage amps in Fender history, with unmistakeaable brightness and harmonics, sweet but oh so punchy!
Most of that punch is due to the 2 x 10'' speakers, not as warm as 12''s, which is precisely the fun of this amp: brightness and definition. Not as much headroom as a Super Reverb (obviously), but its 35W are a good in-between for enjoying both cleans at decent volumes, and those creamy tones without the walls falling apart.
In fact, it starts breaking relatively soon, but headroom has infinite tweaking possibilities. You can change the preamp tubes for 12AT7's or 12AY7's, or you can even reduce headroom even more by changing the phase inverter for a 12AX7 or a 12AU7! Anyway, enough tech-talk! Fender sound all over, gentlemen (kind of similar to the Deluxe Reverb, but with 2x10''s obviously, AND a "Brightness" switch, which will make all of those "twang freaks" very happy.
It takes pedals extremely well, apart from featuring a legendary reverb (what else). This is the ideal solution for anyone seeking for a versatile amp that will suit both the studio and local pub (35W)... AND STILL fit in your car trunk.
It is in excellent condition (see photos to see for yourself). Completely original. Transformers are all original, correctly dated (early '65). Tube chart is in excellent condition (stamp is “OJ”, October 1965). Original footswitch included, too.
Speakers are original Jensens, stamped 40th week or 1965.
Not easy to find a Vibrolux Reverb from this era in the first place, even less in this condition and sounding so well, and especially if it’s export version. You will love it, guaranteed.

Guitar Giraffe, Spain
In the last few years, online sale for musical instruments has experienced an amazing growth, but has passed right through the pre-owned market (that is, in Spain), limiting it to specialised forums and private owners. This is why Guitar Giraffe was born, the first physical and online second hand guitar and amp store (we like to call it "pre-owned", since we see a big difference between both terms), with a clear commitment of giving new options to guitarists locally and worldwide. Pre-owned guitar stores, so common in UK and USA, were practically nonexistent in Spain. We’ve wanted to fill that empty space by becoming the first physical and online store in our country focused on pre-owned guitars and amps.
