Fernandes / DIGI-ZO Nomad Deluxe, Jeff Carlisi Collection / 1999 / Pewter / Guitar For Sale

As the writer of such songs as "Hold On Loosely," "Caught Up In You," "Chain Lightning," "If I'd Been the One," and "Fantasy Girl," Jeff Carlisi got many of us through our high school years as the lead guitarist in the legendary Southern Rock band, .38 Special. Listening to any of those songs will take you right back to the late '70s and '80s, bringing back all the memories that go with our lives at that time. Man, I'm listening to "Rockin' Into the Night" as we speak.

After Jeff's stint in .38 Special, he got together with a group of musicians to form what would become the band Big People. This project included notable players as Pat Travers, Derek St. Holmes, Benjamin Orr and Liberty DeVitto. Check out their live shows from 1999- it's good stuff!

This Fernandez Nomad comes from Jeff's collection and has a letter from him explaining what the guitar was used for during the Big People period. Also included is the limited lifetime warranty with Jeff's handwriting and I found the comments section pretty interesting. I think you will too. Of course, Jeff's personal information had to be redacted, but the essentials are all there.

This Nomad has been detailed, restrung with fresh strings and set up for optimal playability. It's in excellent condition, having only a few light surface scratches on the backplate. It has six banks with four patches, giving you 24 different factory effects. You can also edit and store your own effects- the possibilities are almost endless.

The package includes the following: The guitar and original gigbag, operation manual, power supply, warranty paper, specs page and the letter from Mr. Carlisi. On a side note, I saw folks walk by this guitar over two guitar shows as if it wasn't even on the table. The reason I showed the interest I did is because in the fall of 1978 in Atlanta, Ga., my first concert was .38 Special, Outlaws and Molly Hatchett. I was 15 years old and remember this show to this day, so as a huge fan, I'm proud to offer this guitar for sale. Next up- "Wild Eyed Southern Boys."

Please take a look at the photos, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
