A great sounding and playing Fylde Oberon. Circa late 90’s early ’00’s. Overall in very nice condition, no knocks or dings, just some light play wear.
The original Fylde Guitar, designed with the emerging styles of the early 1970s in mind – its wide fingerboard and short string length are ideal for fingerstyle players, and its evenly balanced bright tone is excellent for recording. Earlier models used Sitka spruce for the tops, but Fylde have used Englemann spruce for extra richness since about 1995.
Some details of the inlay and dimensions have changed slightly, but the basic design has been so successful that it has remained unchanged for over thirty years.
Indian Rosewood sides and 2 piece back, master grade Englemann Spruce top, one piece Honduras Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, pearl position markers, Schaller tuners, Rosewood bindings with marquetry borders, marquetry purfling lines on front. Hiscox Liteflite case included.

The guitars all go through the 12th Fret workshop for servicing and setting up prior to being listed on the website and our Reverb Shop and can be adjusted to suit your setup requirements before shipping. All the guitars are very well packed and shipped within a day of purchase. All guitars are available to view & demo at the showroom based in East Sussex. We are able to offer part exchange on most items for sale.
