1974 Gibson Les Paul Special '55 "Limited Edition" with original hardshell case.This 45 year old Les Paul is known as the "1974/55 Reissue" modeled after the 1955 single cut away Gibson Les Paul Special. A one piece light-weight Mahogany Body and Mahogany neck, single wraparound bridge and 2 original P-90 pickups. The neck is a slim 50's "soft shoulder" tapered neck with no volute. Exclusive only to the first year 1974 reissue.This Special has the tobacco burst nitrocellulose finish that shows slight flaming in the mahogany top & back. No breaks or repairs. All electronics are original... the P-90 pickups, the caps & pots with all matching date codes "13774XX. The warparound bridge, knobs, 3-way switch, input jack, nut and frets in good conditions ... all original.
