Gibson / BYRDLAND / 1969 / Guitar
1969 EXCELLENT CONDITION-ORIGINAL CASE
The Byrdland features a short scale 23.5” neck on a thinner L-5 body (2.25”) with a 17” carved spruce. A beautiful honey iced tea finish is complemented with a flower pot motif inlay on the headstock. It is equipped with two superb patent # Gibson humbuckers and a gold tune-a-matic bridge with an ornately scrolled Byrdland tailpiece. The plating is fairly worn on the hardware but overall the guitar still looks sharp. By far the Byrdland’s best feature would be the fast and friendly big fretted, multi-bound ebony neck.
