The Barney Kessel model was produced in limited quantities from 1961 to 1974 The Kessel regular model features a 17” wide, full depth body 25 1/2 inch scale length. 43 mm nut with a most playable neck, double pointed cutaways, tune-o-matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece with raised diamond and model name on wooden insert, laminated beveled edge pickguard, crown peg head inlay, nickel plated parts. Good Mahogany neck angle with virtually no fret wear or wear to the board. Nice Maple flame side bands and bird's eyes back. Neck straight and comfortable "C" profile, rosewood fretboard, 12" radius, and split parallelogram inlays, perfectly adjusted! Frets in perfect condition w/Braz Rosewood fingerboard, no scratches or breaks or repairs. Comes in its original Gibson case yellow interior.
