This wonderful Gibson Byrdland was very special ordered & its 1 of the finest examples Gibson produced in recent years. Its Blonde finish is what any collector would die for. Its Florentine cutaway body design has become iconic like most late 50’s-early 60’s Byrdy’s. Its Carved spruce top is flawless & its perfectly book matched flamey maple back & sides are as good as any we’ve ever seen. Together they create a sound with incredible articulation w/a powerful projection! Thanks to the natural finish you can really appreciate the beauty of the figured Maple and it looks even better in person ! These always had a special pickup pairing loaded with a pair of 57 Classics. This Byrdland is beautifully dynamic and incredibly touch sensitive. Lastly she’s sporting a custom engraved trapeze Tailpiece & bridge and high-quality Schaller tuners She’s like new & comes complete with original paperwork & COA (it says its an L-5 lol) all in its original hard case.
