1956 GIBSON Country Western Model, EX code AC79
1956 Gibson Country & Western First year production. Original frets in really good shape. Excellent low action with saddle left. One top crack repaired and cleated. Some buckle rash on the back, plenty of weather checking. Tuning machines replaced with modern Klusons. Excellent sound and playability. These are really hard to find in any condition, and a first year even harder. this is good one..!!! Comes in 1950's Gibson Hardshell Case - Brown w Tan Interior. Exactly model as played by David Gilmour SUPER
In 1956 Gibson introduced a natural finish version of the Gibson southern jumbo with a mahogany body (flat top) back and sides and called it the Gibson country western guitar, they made them in natural finish and were discontinued in 1978.
