The first thing that will strike you about this guitar is the way the lacquer has that classic, 50s look. This 339 looks like it was made in 1958 and to hold it and close your eyes will make you think you're holding a mini- Dot ES-335. The '57 Classics are ballsy yet when dialed back, provide a warm, jazzy tone that belies the guitar's size. There is nothing "small" about this axe; It boasts a huge tone and if you're shorter than 6', the guitar is a perfect fit for your body. Look at it this way: This is a guitar for normal sized people. If you can pick coconuts off the tree without the aid of a stepladder, then it will look like a 3/4 sized guitar on you, so finally, here's one for the regular guy! The nut has been upgraded to a bone nut and the guitar has been set- up, intonated, restrung with new strings and will arrive ready to rock.
