The Blue Book says….

- scaled down version of the ES-335, double rounded cutaway, semi-hollow, bound body, arched figured (Model CS-336F) or plain maple bookmatched top with center block being an integral part of the top and back, one piece hollow mahogany back and rim, single-ply creme binding on top, back, and fingerboard, 24.75 in. scale, two ’57 classic humbucker pickups, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot fret markers, available in Faded Cherry (FC), Vintage Sunburst (VS), Tangerine Burst (TB), Trans. Amber (TA, disc. 2005), or Ebony (EB) finishes, includes hardshell case, this model is part of the Custom Collection, mfg. 2002-present.
I say…
Pretty much as the above describes… A scaled down version of the ES 335, ’57 Classic Humbuckers. All original electrics are crackle free and fully functional. There is almost no fret wear, rosewood fingerboard is smooth and unmarked. There are a couple of tiny dinks in the cherry coloured nitro finish on the body and a very slight dent from “amp damage” on the back of the neck – but nothing to really concern. Fully set up with a set of Ernie Ball 10′s. The Gibson Custom hard case shows a couple of scuffs – but again nothing too major. The neck pocket has packing details and Custom shop certificate. On the certificate the model number for this guitar is stated as ES339ARDNH1 – the 1 at the end indicates that the neck is a 30/60 profile neck – however the certificate states that the neck is a 50′s style one. I can only go from my experience here, but the neck definitely feels like a 30/60 - not like a ’50′s neck, I guess that whoever filler in the certificate just made an error on the paperwork.
A great little guitar – think of the best of Les Paul and ES 335 rolled into one. These cost £1700 new – here’s a great chance to get one with little to no wear for a significant saving!

POSH Guitars, UK
Philip's Old Second Hand Guitars (POSH Guitars) Has arisen not only out of my indefatigable enthusiasm for all things wooden with strings, but also from my love of music and creativity.
I firmly believe in a Creator God , who in his creativity gave us a gift. That gift being music, and in our expression of music we give voice to our passion for God.
I am not a company, but I buy guitars of a high quality, use them for a while and then sell them on. Sometimes this allows me to make a small profit, and I shift that profit on into financing the supply of quality instruments for Christian Musicians who are actively working in a recognised Church fellowship.
In this regard I'm happy to announce that Harvey Gerlitz has allowed me to distribute his Guitar Care Products in the UK, and hopefully through these establish a finance base to expand this mission.
In addition to resourcing Christian worship and creativity, 10% of any profits will be automatically passed on to financing Christian work in Africa, building orphanages to care for the victims of the AIDS epidemic there.
All items purchased will be despatched within 24 hours of received payment. Postage in the UK is by First Class postage, outside the UK it's by Air Mail.
