This solid body electric guitar <strong>GIBSON Custom Shop Limited Edition Les Paul Special Double Cut (TV White)</strong>, a very limited edition copy (50 units) and made up of premium grade elements, has all the characteristics of the original model: light solid Mahogany body, solid Mahogany neck joined using the "Long Neck Tenon" method and "Hot Hide Glue" which optimize the transfer of vibrations, solid Rosewood fingerboard.
The P-90 Alnico 5 pickups no longer need to be presented with their rich and expressive grain identifiable from the first note. The electronic components are up to par with CTS potentiometers and Bumble Bee capacities.
As with all Custom Shop models since 2014, Gibson uses a new glue formula ("Hot Hide Glue"), which has the exact properties of the adhesives used at the time. Derived from animal proteins, Hide Glue is used in the music industry (particularly by violin makers) and marquetry, because it has many advantages, including facilitating maintenance and possible repairs.
