2002 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue - Cherry Sunburst incl. case
Rare 2002 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1959 Reissue in great condition. In 2002 Gibson made only appr. 300 1959 Reissues - only available at a very few dealerships. The 2002 Reissues featured some appointments that officially have been announced in 2003, such as the more correct fretboard inlays with sharp edges. This guitar has a outstanding top with really beautiful color and figure and it is supposed to be a "Murphy painted" guitar. There is "Murphy" written under the lacquer in the bridge pickup cavity. It's really lightweight with only 3,79kg and it's very resonant and loud - even acoustically. The back color which was aniline red dye has faded almost completetly to a mahogany brown color. Great and rare guitar from a great Custom Shop year! Including original case, COA and some case candy.
