A real nice original 1973 Gibson Custom Dove, S/N A006163. This guitar is 100% original. It is is outstanding cosmetic condition, with the only real notable flaw are some lacquer spider marks in the finish on the edge of the neck near the 4/5th fret , it is perfectly smooth to the touch though. The guitar was stamped a "2" and the only reason why I can see is a little dark spot on the treble side of bass bout. The guitar is equipped with its original and quite desireable nickel plated PATENT PEND. Grover Rotomatics. The body is crack free and in beautiful shape, with zero structural issues. The very tightly grained Spruce top is nice and flat with no belly issues and the flame maple neck is nice and straight with like new original frets and a beautiful pearl inlaid African Ebony fingerboard. The guitar plays very well in its current state, the action above the 12th fret on the low E string is 1/8" and above the high E is 3/32". The gorgeous pearl inlaid tortoise pickguard is in awesome condition. This guitar has obviously spent most of its life in its super clean original purple plush lined hard case.
