1942 Gibson EH-150 - Electric Hawaii guitar
Rare 1942 Gibson EH-150 lapsteel guitar in excellent condition for its age, except for a repaired old crack near the bridge. Definately one of the most beautiful Electric Hawaiian Steel guitars ever made, the hollow body sports a solid flamed maple back & body with multiple binding, finished in Sunburst. The solid maple neck is made of 1 piece and has a bound rosewood fretboard with 29 frets and dot-inlays. The electronic is original and untouched, including the back-then newly developed AlNiCo Gibson P-90-style pickup with adjustable polpieces and two controls for volume and tone. The 6 orig. Kluson tuners have been "retipped" and work fine. There are numerous videos on Youtube where David Gilmour from Pink Floyd is using this EH-150 Lapsteel on different songs. Comes in its original Gibson tweed hardshell case.
