Gibson / ES-125 / 1956 / Sunburst / Guitar
It doesn't get much better than this. Boy, does this thing SMOKE. This is a stunning example of a '56 Gibson ES-125 in Sunburst. The ES-125 evolved out of the ES-100 in 1941 and was produced until 1943. Upon its reintroduction in 1946, the ES-125 changed in a number of ways including a wider body, a new P-90 pickup, and trapezoid inlays. The ES-125 was updated again in 1950 with an adjustable P-90 pickup and dot inlays. The guitar is in good, playable condition. It's a one owner pony and was well-loved & played. There are a a few nicks & nacks on the guitar, and are a true sign that the one & only owner put this thing to proper use. All common wear for a 60+ year old hollowbody! The tuners were changed at one point, but we have put the originals back on and she's good to go now. Our 1956 Gibson ES-125 comes with a hardshell spoon case.
