This is a probably the cleanest example of an early 1955 Gibson ES-150 with original near perfect soft case that I have seen this one is truely a stunning example and barely looks to be 3 years old let alone a 61 year old.
Please have a good look at the photos you will see for yourself the amazing and vibrant condition this guitar is in. There are a few marks here and a tiny amount of checking but nothing too serious at all and it must be one of the best cared for examples around.
Everything is original apart from the tailpiece which is the correct one, but is chrome not nickel and the pickguard holder threaded part which has been replaced because the original ones always crumble and break.
All finish is original and is probably the deepest, most beautiful original 50’s sunburst I have seen. There is hardly any wear on the neck and the frets still have loads of life left in them.
If you do want to play it I can assure you it will not disappoint. It has a nice action with a reassurangly chunky, typical mid 50’s Gibson neck Pickup is magnificent, vintage classic P-90 with lots of warm tones and bite should you need it, nut width is the desirable 43mm. No FON number is legible inside the guitar so I am dating it to roughly 1955 based on neck profile and features.
