This is a superb almost near mint circa 1969 1970 Gibson ES-150 DCN finished in original factory natural blonde this one is truely a stunning example and barely looks 5 years old let alone 46 years old.
Please have a good look at the photos you will see for yourself the very nice, vibrant condition this guitar is in. There are a few marks here and there, a tiny amount of checking but nothing too serious at all and there is a mark on the back from something that has contacted it in the case, probably a lead. It is pretty slight and when you first see it you think it is some figuring in the wood.
Everything is all original apart from it has had a re-fret which is a good one too. All solder is original and intact and all hardware is original with no cracks. This guitar was only made for a short time from 1969 to 1974 which is a shame as they are nice sounding and versitile instruments. It is like a cross between an ES-335 and an ES-175 or like a ES-330 with full size body, neck and humbuckers...
If you do want to play it I can assure you it will not disappoint. It has a nice action with a nice slim taper neck and a 41mm nut width. I would say it is 1970 but it has some 1969 (and earlier) features most importantly it has a one piece neck which you hardly ever see in 1970, a dot on the ‘i’, a tiny mosquito bite volute and ‘Made in USA’ which I think all ES-150 DCN’s have.
