Gibson / ES-175D / 1961 / Dark Sunburst Finish / Guitar For Sale
This is another really cool ES-175D from 1961 w/a gorgeous rich Sunburst finish over a nicely figured maple top & back & side panels. Its beautiful flat wide 1 piece mahogany neck w/its 1 11/16″ nut width feels fabulous. Its got a white bound Rosewood fingerboard w/double parallelogram inlays. You get a killer variety of jazz tones thru its 2 Reissue PAF pickups. She is still sporting her original single-line Kluson Deluxe tuners, its 4 Gold capped knobs w/its black laminated pickgard. All of its nickel hardware is clean & from its wooden bridge to its cool zig-zag trapeze tailpiece. Its got a clean orange oval label intact. She’s got killer sustain & tone qualities. Other than some slight play time, she’s exceptional overall & a mostly original example, she comes in a nice hard case.
