Gibson / ES-175D / 1979 / Sunburst / Guitar
This is a nice example of the RARE double pickup Gibson ES-175D made in early 1980 complete with original Gibson black/red case this is a one owner guitar, the orignal owner who lives near Leeds, had now retired and bought this in 1980. He has kept it is superb condition and as only used it with flat wounds so there is very little wear on the original frets.
Please have a good look at the photos you will see for yourself the excellent condition this guitar is in. There are a few marks here and there, a bit of buckle rash and some minor checking.
Included is a nice, original Gibson hardshell case that does have a few marks on the outside but is still good condition and is still structually sound.
Everything is 100% original and working perfectly on this including all electrics etc.
It plays really well with a nice low action and great intonation. Both pickups are nice and strong too. serial number is early 1980 marked as a second, but pots date to late 1979 and has the typical late 70’s Gibson features.
