Gibson / ES-225 TN / 1958 / Blonde / Guitar
This is without a doubt the finest ES-225 TN you will encounter on this planet. What’s more it is the rare and desirable Natural finish ES-225 TN, it’s a 1958 (classic year for this model) and it has the classic ’58 neck, frets and Lifton case..
This is a near MINT condition and I don’t think I have seen a finer example, original 1958 Gibson ES-225 TN + original Lifton pink/brown case that was made in 1958 and looks like it is only 2 years old and not 58 years! Almost a time capsule of a guitar and a total invstment piece.
Please have a good look at the photos you will see for yourself the amazing condition this guitar is in. The only marks I can find is some tarnishing in places of the nickle hardware that I am certain can be removed, a couple of clearcoat dings on the back of the neck and a few small dings on the headstock. The body is just about perfect and there is no buckle rash or anything like that.
Included is a lovely, original Lifton brown/pink hardshell case that does have a few handling marks on the outside but is still amazing condition.
Very rare model too - most of the ES 225’s were in sunburst and nowhere near as nice as this!
If you do want to play it I can assure you it will not disappoint. It has a nice low action and both original P-90’s are evenly balanced with exceptional clarity and bite. FON number begins with an ’T’ and every single thing about this guitar is classic 1958.
