Gibson / ES-330 / 1961 / Red / Guitar
One of the last dot neck ES-330's to leave the factory for sure. Serial number is January 62 but I'm calling it a 61 since everybody associates 62 with block necks. This was originally a trapeze tail but had a Bigsby added at some point. The work looks to be factory judging by the ground wire and the installation. It had a Bigsby bridge on it which left a couple of scrapes in the top (see photo) but over all it is in excellent condition showing almost no wear at all. The finish is still vibrant, shiny and new looking. The frets have been replaced (recently it appears) and the bridge is now a repro no wire ABR-1. Original electronics, plastic, tuners (never had any other tuners on it). Only the bridge (repro Gibson) and Bigsby (vintage correct) are not original. The original cardboard case was trash and not worth saving. Comes with a good Gibson Custom Shop case.
