100% original 1964 vintage Gibson cherry red ES-330 with original hard shell case have a look at the photos, it is in STUNNING condition for this desirable colour and has just some checking on the top and back. There is hardly a ding anywhere and even the knobs still have their lettering intact!
It is well set up with a good action and is very nice to play. Both original P-90 pickups are nice and strong too. All hardware is totally 100% original and nickle plated apart from the strings of course. Have a look at the photos and see for yourselves.
This is the magic period for Gibson when they realsied that their 1960-1963 necks were a bit too thin and beefed them up a bit, similar to a ’59 neck profile. It only lasted untilmid 1965 which is when they introduced the narrower nut width so when you come across these, you know you are going to get a geat player and this one is no exception.
Serial number of 238577 dates to 1964 and all electrics pots etc are totally original.
There are no breaks, no touch ups - just the way everyone likes a classic 1964 Gibson with a one piece neckand hardly any fret wear at all.
Case is also in pretty good condition and still has the ‘Lifton’ logo inside.
