Gibson / ES-330 / 1965 / Cherry Sunburst / Guitar
This is a NICE and nearly all original 1965 vintage Gibson cherry red ES-330 with cool old hard shell case have a look at the photos, it is in good condition for this desirable colour but is has been played and has typical player wear and dings all over incluing some wear on the back of the neck. It is all original with the exception of the pickguard that is a very high quality, newer replacement - you probebly wouldn’t notice unless I pointed it out to you.
It is well set up with a good action and is very nice to play. Both original P-90 pickups are nice and strong too. Hardware is typical for 1965 a mixture of nickle and chrome with pretty much everything nickle ecapt the tailpiece which is chrome. Guitar has a cool vibe and feel very comfortable. Have a look at the photos and see for yourselves.
FInish is only slightly faded, original frets are in decent shape and nut width is 41mm. I do not think the case is original but it is obvious it has been with the guiar for a very long time and is pretty cool in itself with a 50’s Glieb style feel.
Serial number of 351204 dates to 1965 and all electrics pots etc are totally original with no disturbed solder joints.
There are no breaks, no touch ups - just the way everyone likes a classic 1964 Gibson with a one piece neck and a cool player vibe.
