This is a NICE 100% original 1966 vintage Gibson cherry red ES-330 with original soft shell case have a look at the photos, it is in excellent condition for this desirable colour and hardly has any wear including on the original frets and fingerboard. It is all original in every way and has no issues or replaced parts - that in itself is quite something…!
It is well set up with a good action and is very nice to play. Both original P-90 pickups are nice too. Hardware is typical for 1966 a mixture of nickle and chrome with pretty much everything chrome ecapt the tuners which are nickel. Guitar has a cool vibe and feels very comfortable. Have a look at the photos and see for yourselves.
FInish is strong and vibrant, original frets are in superb shape and nut width is 41mm. Original soft case has seen better days but still functions OK albeit with the help of some gaffa tape.
Serial number of 409723 dates to 1966 and all electrics pots etc are totally original with no disturbed solder joints.
1966 was the year England won the World Cup so obviously, it was a good year for everything. ;-)
There are no breaks, no touch ups - just the way everyone likes a classic 1966 Gibson semi, nice and light with a one piece neck and a cool player vibe.
