Gibson / ES-330 TDC / 1967 / Cherry / Guitar

Sometimes all you need is a 1967 Gibson ES-330 TDC

1967 saw Gibson introduce the 19th fret neck joint as an option for the ES-330. This guitar represents the last few made with the classic 14th fret neck joint.

This guitar is in excellent condition with a vibrant cherry finish. There are no signs of wear, the finish still retains its rich colour and looks to have been well looked after.

The neck is in great shape too. Like the body there are no signs of wear or fade which is also the case with the frets and fretboard.

Hardware is in good condition with no real signs of discoloration or corrosion.

Plastics are all correct and are free of wear. This is also one of the last few examples to have the bonnet knobs fitted before Gibson moved to the witch hat  variety.

Electrically everything looks correct with no sign of any modifications or repairs.

This is a well balanced instrument, its lightweight belaying a confident, rootsy acoustic tone. The slim taper neck is comfortable and familiar with easy access to the upper frets. Unlike its centre blocked relations, the archtop construction of these guitars lends a sense of space to the tone, married effectively with a pair of original P90 pickups. These convey the warmth of the wood with a single coil clarity that gives the ES-330 its characteristic timbre. In short, this guitar does sound amazingly good!

Included with the guitar is its correct softshell case plus original tag.

This is a stunning guitar that not only looks the part but sounds great too. Grab it before it gets away.
