This is a very early & quite rare version of Gibson’s new ES-330TD which was their new Thin Hollow Body guitar. Its introduction year was 1958. Its original see-thru Cherry Red finish is nicely faded & has a lovely patina. Its 2 black P-90 pickups are sensational & have balls to the walls clarity in which so many recordings were made. Its dot inlaid bound rosewood neck is super wide & flat in depth like a killer period 335. She’s sporting a reissue set of Kluson tuners yet has its original trapeze tailpiece & its rare silver capped black knobs. What makes this one so rare & desirable is that its an early “Dot Neck” 330 made prior to early-1960 block inlaid versions. Other than missing its pickgard & its tuners, she’s 100% original & excellent overall, comes in its original Black Tolex/yellow Lined hard case.
