Gibson / ES-335 / 1968 / Cherry Red / Guitar
This is a VERY NICE vintage 1969 Gibson ES-335 finished in desirable cherry red with non original hard case have a look at the photos, it is in good condition and is a great player too.
It is all sound and has no breaks or repairs and everything is original apart from the tuners (which are now Schallers), the pots - but original are in the case and probably just need cleaning, the frets and maybe the bridge saddles.
Pickups are original PAT sticker types (probably T-tops) and sound very nice on this guitar. Newer frets are in great shape and guitar is a very nice player and because of the few changed parts is keenly priced. To give you some comparison a couple of weeks ago, I sold an all original near mint 1969 cherry ES-335 for nearly £5,000
It also has the desirable late 60’s features such as the one piece neck and slim taper profile. I am sure the new owner will not be disappointed.
It plays well and even sounds good with a great variety of sounds from the double, strong Pat number humbuckers. It is set up well, and has a great fast neck.
