Gibson / ES 335 DOT RI / 1982 / Natural Blonde / Guitar
1982 Gibson ES-335 DOT Reissue - Natural incl. orig. Gibson hardshell Case
Beautiful 1982 Gibson ES-335 DOT-Reissue in excellent+ condition in rare Natural finish. Almost no visible playwear, the original frets are still in perfect shape. The 335 Dot-Reissue debuted in 1982 and was Gibsons atempt to build 335 guitars like in the golden 50s. They returned that year to 1-piece mahogany necks with a medium C-profil and wide fretboard as found on late 50s/early 60s Gibsons, small headstock, Grover tuners (there have been Klusons installed but the original Grovers are back on), the two original Gibson "Tim Shaw" humbuckers have moderate outputs of aprox. 7K-Ohm similar to early PAFs and sound great in that guitar! The bridge has been upgraded with a Gibson ABR-1 reissue. The semi-hollow maple body even shows some mild figured top and back. Great sounding and playing guitar for a price much lower than a new Gibson Custom Shop 335. Incl. original black Gibson hardshellcase with maroon lining.
