1961 Gibson ES-335 TD Sunburst, PAF, Original Case, EC
This is a early 1961 Gibson ES-335TD with PAF. Only 1658 (with PAF) were shipped between 1958 and 1961, making them as rare as the illustrious 1957-1960 Burst Les Paul, and that's probably the reason why expert predict these to become as collectible over time as the LP Burst. It features bound maple top, back and sides, Honduras mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. including original PAF that are never opened and come with their original untouched covers, original wireless ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge, original stop tailpiece and comes with Original case, The neck comes with a typical lovely medium-to-thick profile. This one, we measured comes with a 43.48mm (1 45/64") width at the Nut and plays extremely comfortable more like a 59er neck than a '61! Outstanding played condition. All original finish, plastics, hardware, original pots, Great mahogany neck, Great sound, 2x original PAF´s which never had their covers off but have switched position at a certain point (bridge to neck and an vice versa). also there was mounted a tailpiece at a certain point (no bigsby as there are no signs on top of the guitar) but the man came to reason and swichted back to normal. This will be proof to be one of your very best investments over time, and considering you can play it while growing value it's probably the very best thing to buy! This is probably one of the finer example left! comes in its original brown Gibson hardshell-case with pink lining. Consigned for a good friend!
