1967 Gibson ES-335 TD - Sparkling Burgundy Metallic incl. orig. case
Rare 1967 Gibson ES-335 TD in custom-color Sparkling Burgundy, all original and in super condition for its age. The rare finish is still extrem bright in color, only the front has faded to a lighter tangerine color, the backside is still bright red, almost like Candy Apple Red. The finish on the back of the neck shows some weatherchecking and the typical oxidation, found on metallic finished surfaces. The two "Pat.Nr.-Decal" pickups never had their covers off, all solderjoints are original and untouched, all pots are dated to 1967. Very warm sounding and well balanced guitar in a very rare finish, comfortable to play and a great future invstment! The guitar comes in a 1970s black Gibson 335 hardshell-case.
